*Signed 3 times by Pogany: On limitation page and on the the original etching as per usual in this edition. This copy specially inscribed and signed by Pogany to the wife of Milton Getz, Estelle Getz.

Inserted is a handwritten letter gifting the volume to Estelle Getz from her friend Abraham Lehr. Lehr was a Hollywood executive and Vice-President of Samuel Goldwyn Productions (later MGM), before becoming a Hollywood agent. Lehr's wife, Anne Neill Lehr, started The Hollywood Guild Canteen with the help of Bette Davis (https://jhgraham.com/2023/07/02/the-hollywood-guild-canteen/).

Getz was a well known bibliophile in her own right and wife of banker Milton Getz. They went on to build the 'Getz House', one of the most famous mansions in Beverley Hills, later bought by William Randolph Hearst and actress Marion Davies.
